At first I smiled at the thought of her saying: “hold the baby, I’ll be right back” and kicking some ass behind the corner, but I wonder if Jackie’s obsession with Miss Melee has anything to do with how Janice sometimes mysteriously disappeared during her childhood, and that somehow left a mark? Like she’s looking for a mother figure because of suppressed grudge to her mother or something. Am I over-analyzing this?
