so ,shes going to be a more gear based hero, i like it, also batman vibes
so we got the punchy hero and the techno hero. looks like a perfect match! all we need for the perfect five-person team now is a villain searching for redemption, an old partner of the original hero, and the comic relief/comedic rival/sketchy looking one.
Techno Hero: Whatever Anne starts doing with that exoskeleton she’s working on;
Villain Looking for Redemption: No obvious entries yet;
Old Partner: Osakan Riot;
Comedic Relief: Kid Melee.

Villain Looking for Redemption is obviously the Dad/husband. He runs an auto shop called “The Laboratory” for crying out loud. Obviously he kept Miss Melee in tech so she would go after his rivals. He “retired” when the very cute Janice started dating him, but with Miss Melee back in the picture he is going to come out of retirement for a final score!
hmm… looking at the cast page, not only has Belle not been marked as out of commission, but abby adams has been added. She’s roundabout the right age to be a friend of Jackie’s, but more likely she’s gonna be a rival. And villain. and since Jan was asking her mother about the SABR stuff, she’s likely to take control of a new version of it. for better or worse. At the very least, she’s going to appear more. And soon.
Supervillians have a ‘revolving door’ relationship with prison. I’m guessing Belle will either break out or be bailed by some soft-headed judge and will be back plotting revenge soon enough. In any case, the Word of God is that Anne and Belle aren’t related.
As for Anne? I’m pretty sure that The Titanic Titanium Woman is probably going to be a thing.
We’ve met Abby already. She is the 4th gymnast, and is already Jackie’s rival. The last time we saw her, she ran into Jackie in the hall “because she didn’t see Jackie”.
“You’ve already seen my ‘secret lair’, kiddo. It’s called ‘Mom’s home office’ but I can’t risk telling you that just yet.”
Jackie is such a fan-girl. I wonder if Jan is going to end up getting quite annoyed at being negatively compared to Miss Melee every time she and Jackie have a disagreement?

When Kid Melee asked for her own Melee-cycle,should Miss Melee have said. “Let’s wait until you’re sixteen…!”
“Do you know anything about that new noisy, animated artwork, up there?”
“No. They never tell me anything.”
“Well, my advice is to just ignore it. It’ll be really annoying at first, but after a few days, it’ll slow down, and eventually shut up. At least, that’s what happened a few years ago, when they put a Big Mouth Billy Bass on display.”
