Translator’s note: “Pare” is roughly the Portuguese equivalent of “stop.” It was supposed to be the rough equivalent of “everybody freeze” or “nobody move” and we thought we had it right with “pare” after a 30-minute crash course in Portuguese grammar, but recent research (over a year later) has led us to believe that’s not so. Let this be a lesson to all prospective writers out there: writing in a language you don’t speak is hard.

Oh dear. This comic starts out with a Brazillian shave?
No, wait… that’s not the right wording.
Uhh…. Oh well.
Brazilian Ninjas, yes hahah!
And that was an ok approximation. A better one would be Todo mundo parado. Or Parado aí. But Pare is the exact translation of stop.
