Well that was surprisingly wholesome.
Also good on him for supporting his wife´s dream of being a villain by taking care of the household and filling in when she is busy….threatening Ohio with a drilling laser or something.
I wonder if Mark and Mr Adams know each other. I’ve just got this mental image of the two of them sitting in a bar and talking about their over-achieving wives and daughters in this weird, affectionate way that doesn’t seem to indicate they understand the stakes for which the ladies are playing
See, the difference between a “criminal” and a “Supervillain” isn’t in legality of action- it’s in how they go about things. Supervillains will adhere to certain codes, and accept some setbacks as just ‘part of the game’. There’s lines that they won’t cross, as a rule. Criminals just want to get ahead, in any way possible.
In other words, the difference between a villain, and a “SUPER”-villain…
So, the villain side family all knows.
While on the hero side, Kid Melee doesn’t know Miss Melee is her mom, and her dad doesn’t know that either of them are superheroes.
Or, he does and is just waiting for his wife to tell him. And then say: “I’ve known the whole time.”
… And the idea that she doesn’t recognize her Mom is ridiculous. Her size and shape, sound, smell, the way she moves. Nope. They’re both maintaining the fiction for now.
Hugh Jackman was accused of being “too tall” to be Wolverine. RDJ lost a lookalike contest to a lookalike. Christopher Reeve literally dressed like Clark Kent and didn’t get hounded by the paparazzi, like he did in Superman form. Not only is it likely, it is most assuredly the case.
Really, the only reveal about that was that their father/husband knows everything and tends to the household so the others can follow their supervillain dreams.
Just as I suspected.
Those two look familiar…

Well, no big surprise there.

Meanwhile I’m imagining the two discussing their wives hero/villain escapades with each other with a bro code “don’t tell my wife” kind of agreement.
Now this would be money!!
I wasn’t aware this was a secret?
It’s one of those “pretty obvious and widely assumed but never officially confirmed until now” secrets.
Who knew supervillainy could make for such great family bonding?
Dun Dun Dun! dramatic reverb!
I need to call the doctor to get my tongue dislodged from my cheek.

That was a next-level dad joke.
It’s official. This family is full of psychopaths.
Is the schedule every other week now? Was this announced?
