  Not disillusioned but I can see her being irrationally worried about what else in her life may be a lie, no matter how well-intentioned.

Sorry about the double post but I just had the idea for a dizzying twist: Bouncing Belle attacks the school, hoping to use the kids as hostages to keep Miss Melee off of her back. Kid Melee and Evil Lass end up in an alliance-of-convenience to save their friends.

Much confusion and mixed feelings ensue the next time the Melees confront the Evils.
