I give high odds that at some point in the future, Jan and Jackie both pat themselves on the back for how good they are doing at keeping their identities secret from eachother.
How Jackie phrased her answer to her mom was a little weird, too, given that her mom isn’t supposed to know about her new extracurricular activity? (Well, not as her mom, anyhow.)
I wonder if Jackie’s gonna be able to keep her secret identity for long. MM needs to stop calling her Jackie out in the field. You never know who’s listening.

That seems rather dangerous.
Well, to be fair, she’s in a dangerous profession now. :p
… why… did the cops… not remove her power suit…
My guess? The zipper was on the back. They need to find a way to get the glue and drywall off first.
So… sedate her first?
I’m more than a little interested to see how far Belle gets with a lump of drywall glued to her back!
Meanwhile, I think that Jackie’s ‘homework’ would give Jan flashbacks to her own trainee days!
Not a shining moment for the Metrovale PD…
I’m sure most days aren’t.

A bit confuffled with how you phrased the sentence, since we know Jan knows.
Then I realized you meant they pat themselves, as in not each other.
