HALF AN HOUR?! Include all the time fighting those pawns and that seems AWFULLY fast to transport them into the elaborate trap, fully tied up, and wake up on their own.
Truth be told, “…we’ll be home in time for dinner” does NOT necessarily mean they’re going to the same home to eat dinner. I’ve heard the expression used before to a group of people who were not going to the same place for dinner.
You know “We’ll be home in time for dinner” is a one of those saying to insinuate that a situation won’t take long to resolve. I’m not sure if shea actually gave anything away.
She gave nothing away, technically. And interestingly, KM hasn’t been thinking along the lines of “Mom is Miss Melee?” anyhow, so that shouldn’t really be the instinctual response.
I’ve seen “Be home in time for Dinner” used in westerns and various movies where the characters only recently met, and know nothing about each other.
Another common feature on modern phones is a GPS tracker that can give your location to within a few feet, displayed on a convenient and usually more or less correct map.
True, but it’s likely the same thing that’s blocking the cellular signal (be it simply their location underground, some sort of signal blocking tech, blocking material built into the compound, or some combination of the three) could be blocking the GPS signal as well.

Mamma Melee, there she go again.
How long can she keep it?
Mamma Melee, starts to show again.
Her kid, might begin to see it!
QUEEN EVIL: “Dinner… DINNER! Ohmigod I forgot that it’s a school night! We’ve got to wrap this up NOW!”
EVIL LASS: “But MOOOMMM!”

Who said they woke up on their own? Maybe the Evils gave them smelling salts.
It still just doesn’t seem like enough time for all that to happen.
