I was going to say the hair suggests they are someone else, but you are right, it could be wigs. However they *fight* and that could risk their disguises if the Melees go for the hair pull. Time will tell.
Do we ever see them in natural light? You seem fairly certain that their hair is red, but we only ever see them in purple darkness. Their hair could be blond and it is just the weird light that makes them look purple.
Second thoughts about playing the game according to her mother’s rules and game-plan yes. Second thoughts about the objective? No. She has a personal dislike for Kid Melee and wants to see her humiliated and destroyed. If Evil Queen is captured, I’d fully expect Evil Lass to go freelance and try to continue to destroy her chosen arch-foe.
Yeah, from the dialogue here it seems that the Evils aren’t even looking at the monitors, as if they turned them off because there was nothing to see in them, because, Dark.
If only they had left them on, they might have noticed. Cyalume(tm).
Still wondering where they got the purple dye, though. ^_^
I understand that there’s no spoilers allowed but I’ve got a feeling that they’re both Anne & Abby Adams.
I assumed that was already obvious.
Seeing as they’re both in the cast list, it is pretty obvious. Red wigs attached to the masks, and the rest of their faces are just right for it.

Is Evil Lasss having second thoughts!?

Oh these kids and their newfangled ideas!
*Door opens and the Melees enter the command centre* “Hey, guys! Turns out that the dark isn’t a big thing after all!”

Purple lightsticks are a stock item at Amazon. 🙂
Disadvantage: leaving them time to think and plan.
