I’m getting the feeling that Evil Lass is pretty done with her mother’s insistence on seeing this as a game.
Am I the only one who’s thinking that, when this is all over, she’s going to make her mistake and link up with Guerriera to become ‘Ninja Lass’ or something in order to pursue her bizarre puppy-crush rivalry with Kid Melee?
I don’t think she’ll turn on her mother so easily. Though that doesn’t mean another villain like Lord Kharava might sway her to their cause at some point. Especially if Queen Evil is a single mother that some are speculating or that villain is Evil Lass’s biological father.
Precisely, which is why I’m fairly sure that Evil Queen’s plan is to lose in such a way as to live to fight another day.
Her conversation with her daughter earlier this issue was odd and made me think that she believes her role is to be the worthy foe: the dark to Miss Melee’s light that makes her heroism more obvious. Could she ultimately be a weird kind of fangirl? Or is she more like Mr Glass in the Unbreakable franchise, believing that there must be supervillians for superheroes to exist? She did say that she thought that she had to be there to replace Lord Kharva!

Oh yeah, that should work just fine!
Famous last words…
And dodge diagonally! Hopefully, they hit each other and wipe each other out.
I get the impression that Evil Lass increasingly thinks her mother could use a vacation in the funny farm, where life is beautiful all the time.
She’s not wrong.
She should be happy to see those nice young men in their clean white coats. 😉
Dodge at the right timing!
