The hints where vague enough to imply that they might not have been the same person. In fact, they could still be two separate entities in the same body.
Looks like Sabr’s body suit is either progamable memory material or nanotech goo maintaining the shape of a body suit until deactivated. Makes sense given the interchanable nature of its parts. I hope she’ll get reactivated sometime, Id love to know a bit more about how her tech functions.
While I can understand him turning on Kennedy, leaving her alive while stripping her of the suit and intending to utilize her again means he must be very confident in his ability to continue to manipulate her. I mean given he could maybe threaten to leak her information to the police, so there is that, but he is definitely walking a tight rope.
We can now deduce two things of it.
1. Her boss is indeed her old enemy.
2. Their last fight clearly ended with her using her power on him judging by that scar on his chest. Looks like a classic anime “crater from a lot of power” if I ever saw one, just in scar form.
Should be interesting to learn more about this dangerous power of hers.
Also theorize.
Observations: She learned this power willingly. In her fight with Sabr she used it and regretted doing so.
Theory: She used the power on him, and assumed she killed him. And she has a very strong no killing core. So why she swore off the ability.
“Intuitech’s suits are scraps”.. Uh, that’s not how government contracts work, buddy. Those are demo suits, not the full production line.
If anything, this little ‘demonstration’ will fast-line major production of the O.M.A., as a force to counteract things like the SABR. Like someone said before, the Military would rather have 100 O.M.A. suits than a single SABR, even if it’s as good as 10 O.M.A.s. Also, contracts. Legality. Etc.
You’ve definitely got another fan here.
Excellent art, great story… while a somewhat predictable plot twist, it doesn’t come off as contrived or hokey.
well done all around.

I guess that ties up a few loose ends for us as well.
This is an “oh snap” moment if I ever saw one
Really? Didn’t we all guess this by now?

And that died when they updated the character page…
that question died when he took off the mask and kept talking evilly.
Yes.
IF you want know something as equally shocking. The person who is buried in Grant’s tomb is named Grant
Yeah, saw this coming WAY back.
I feel like he got hit with the chi punch in the chest and now has a thing with miss melee.

At least we know the motivation now.
Hmm, quite the confident character.

Old saying go – when walking a tight rope make sure you do not end up on the end of it.
