Could really use a panel to show of how far she was thrown by that blast not that I could tell where it could be placed that wouldn’t mess up the composition of the other panels.
I was thinking that the hacker might be an unwitting pawn in this. I have to scroll back to last chapter but when it showed what the SABR acronym stands for the first two words I think were “semi-autonomous.” The suit is the one with a gripe against the general really. Jilted lover syndrome.
Cant say Miss Melee isnt gutsy to get in this sort of fight. But she’s saving lives by distracting Sabr, but what is the final cost gonna be. I cant help but think she’s gonna get outted to her family. She’s gonna have some really hard to explain injuries by the looks of things.
“Honey, you wouldn’t believe what I’ve been through today. See that woman in a power armor that is on the news? I was in the stands with my boss when she attacked randomly. I was hit by debris of one of those attacks, but luckily I managed to sneak away alive when Miss Melee appeared to kick her ass.”
I really love the comic, but the website needs some improvement. Reading through the archives, the filler pages in-between chapters would usually not link to the next chapter. And more importantly, the RSS feed hasn’t updated since Issue 4 Page 20. I’m subscribed to about thirty webcomics so if the RSS doesn’t update, I’m oblivious to the comic.
I’m not sure exactly what the first problem is; the archives read fine in our testing. We had an issue with the site that was fixed last week where certain pages would appear to the reader as the final page in the archives when they really weren’t (which may be your problem, if so, try clearing your browser cache), which appears to have extended to the RSS feed and is still a problem there. I don’t use RSS so I never would have noticed if you hadn’t pointed it out to me. We’re looking into it now, thanks!
Well, we hope it is. There’s a chance there will still be issues, but we won’t know until after the next page.
And if the issues still persist after this coming weekend, it confirms my suspicions that it’s a WordPress-related issue that we quite frankly have no clue how to fix or even what the cause is.
Well, now we find out if she is a “bad-ass normal” or if she actually has super powers. A normal person on the receiving end of that would be VERY seriously injured.
Well… that had to hurt. I’d be amazed if she doesn’t feel like she needs to vomit after that one.
Well, at least that suit has a reasonably limited powersupply, which is good.
That’ll leave a mark

Ow!

I think her fragile psyche is having a negative reaction to the suit.
Not to mention her fragile physique. SABR is thinking, “Geez! I’ve got to do everything. I’m almost down to 50% power!”

Hmm doesn’t seem hard to me

Her costume has “ultra light body armor” according to the costume overview so that could help protect her.
Body armor won’t make much difference to that number of G’s.
