I wonder who’s calling Jan? Is it Rimi to inform her that their plan to discourage Jackie from being a costumed hero was successful or would it be someone else?!?
Not necessarily “Bad” either but “Noisy” “Flashy” “Boomy” would be appropriate … especially from “Learning Experiences” .. those are the most fun because you get lots of data and get to build another one that is new and improved.
Yeah, I’m thinking of ‘The Invincible Steel Siren’ or something like that.
Remember a Marvel title in the 1990s called ‘Spitfire and the Troubleshooters’? The lead character used a construction exoframe called the Mobile Anthropomorphic EXoskeleton or MAX for short and found that construction equipment was just at good at saving lives and beating up bad guys. Something like this could happen with Annie’s ‘boring’ new project!
The hacker girl with the somewhat unreasonable mad-on towards the company Anne works (possibly long hours) for, who was singled out by the big bad to steal Anne’s pet project?

“Jan, come and mop up your daughter. She’s had enough training for one day.”
What idea has Anne been given? It doesn’t look “good”.
Yeah, I see mayhem in those eyes.
I recall a previous comment about the similarity between Anne and one bouncing baddie…
She seems to have the same facial mannerisms as Bouncy Belle and she does have a daughter.
I was thinking the same thing.
Yep – eyebrows and art style of face match, I think.
Rimi is pretty chaotic too and she’s a hero. It just depends on what fits into Annie’s perception of ‘fun’.
She’s a weapons designer working for a super-villain. Signs are definitely not pointing to “good”. 😉

Was the rhyming in panel 4 intentional or was that just an accident?
She’s Bouncy Belle’s mom.
She is somebody’s mom, but she is not Bouncy Belle’s mom.
Now that makes me think that its someone that we’ve already met.

Probably Jackie’s in-school nemesis.
Now I wonder if Jan planted ANY sort of ideas into Anne’s head?!?!?
Is anne by any chance inspired by ritsuko from evangelion because they look eerily similar…
