I wonder if there will be more happening on tonight’s outing or if we’ll cut to seeing a report on Miss Melee and her new sidekick on the news the following morning? I feel like this is end of this segment and it will be cutting way to something new.
I think the author skipped over all the police paperwork that the two should have been filling out. Without that, there will be insufficient evidence of wrong doing to prosecute.
They’ve probably got security tapes. Or Miss Melee made them PROMISE to confess when the cops find them.
I said this on Patreon too but it deserves repeating: I think that Jan will find the most difficult part of keeping her identity secret from Jackie will be controlling her desire to act what she is: A loving and proud mother.
OTOH, given the light-hearted nature of this comic, it could very well be an ultimate gag that her husband and daughter have always been aware of her real identity, but were just playing along anyway.
Husband definitely knows. Daughter definitely doesn’t.
Does Jackie have school in the morning? If so, ket’s hope that the night takes them home to sleep at some point.
I imagine a responsible parent wouldn’t take her daughter out patrolling on a school night. Of course, a really responsible parent wouldn’t be taking her daughter out at all, would she? 😉
At some point, Jackie needs to learn the nigh-time roof-hopper’s skill of surviving on three hours’ sleep every two or three days. Now is as good a time as any for her to pick that up!
I am fairly certain that Jan’s “I might need to be there all weekend” comment means that this is a Friday night.
Just received my copy of Miss Melee Vol. 1 in the mail today. I look forward to this being worth big $$$ once the Miss Melee Cinematic Universe kicks off.
And now we know where her allowance money goes: rope. They’re going to go through *so much* of it.
I thought that Miss Melee was “thanking” the captured crooks for bringing the rope.. Wasn’t that how they got into the place, and planned on leaving?
