You know, that’s a good question–did Janice’s mom ever find out about her heroics? It would be interesting if there was a symmetry there.
My official guess: li’l Janice asks her mom about it, her mom tells her no, and she proceeds to do it anyway “on the sly.” Passes off her trip to learn kung-jitsu as a international college study program, etc.
Cool page. As a retired parent of three great young people, I remember going through my work day with the kids on my mind. Perhaps on the next page one of the baddies will complain that Melee and Osakan aren’t taking them seriously. 🙂
I’ve been meaning to ask this for a spell, when you say “retired parent” do you mean that your kids are grown and that your job as a parent is basically done?
Bwahahaha, I love how the folding chair just came out of nowhere and is now a battering instrument. Also that panel 4 face, great exaggeration with the impact. Keep up the great work!
And that’s what will lead her down the path of becoming a hero like it did for you.

it was in the trashcan that Osakan had.
I’m loving the way the ‘mother-to-mother’ talk is being mixed into the action
I am slighly disappointed that the word Fore didn’t cut between the panels.
“What are friends— FOOORE!”
I see someone is a fan of Saturn and Kronus.
TOTAL ELIMINATION!
